Twice each week farm staff host volunteer tasks to keep the farm running! We welcome all that are 10 years or older to join us in a variety of tasks from weeding and planting to harvesting and bouquet making. Minors age 10 - 14 must have a guardian actively volunteering along side them.
The Stanford Educational Farm offers public events that are open to all on most Wednesday evenings throughout the school year. Some events require registration and have limited group sizes so be sure to sign up early!

This year the farm featured 29 varieties of cut flowers - dahlias and sunflowers, celosia and asters, snapdragons and amaranth - many in shades of Cardinal red. We provided sustainably grown seasonal blooms for campus events. In addition to gracing many a campus table, these flowers provide habitat for beneficial insects that help control crop pests, and nectar for our resident bee hives.
